Hi I'm Joseph

I am a father of two, a sports enthusiast, an MBA student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful wife and two beautiful little girls. I met my wife just over 4 years ago while attending college. We both were so excited to find somone with so many things in common. We both enjoyed sports and had a passion for education and giving service. Aside from spending time with my family, working full-time, and going to school full-time, I have a passion for being active. I love the outdoors, sports, learning new things, and exercising. I am grateful every day for the blessings Heavenly Father has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought stability and consistency to my life. Knowing that I am a child of God and that He has a plan for me gives me great confidence. The truth that families can live together forever inspires me to be a better husband and father. I know that if I follow the commandments which Heavenly Father has given that I will be able to live again with Him someday. My mother passed away from breast cancer when I was 12 years old. I felt a void that I had never before felt. I looked to my Savior and Heavenly Father for comfort. Over time, those wounds of hurt and sadness were healed and replaced with feelings of hope, love, and faith as I humbly asked for his help through prayer. I know that I will see my mother again someday. I know that death is a necessary part of God's plan for us. I am a Mormon because I know that these truths and the fullness of the Gospel can be found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in an adult organization in my Church that helps inspire men to be good fathers, husbands, citizens, and followers of Jesus Christ. I look forward to attending Church every Sunday to serve in this capacity and to remember the promises that I have made to follow Jesus Christ. Attending church weekly, to learn from the scriptures and my fellow members, has been a wonderful source of guidance and support in my life. I also have the opportunity each month to visit the homes of members to share a Gospel message and offer support or help. I have learned in my life that when I am feeling down, focusing on others' needs through service will always lift my spirits. Visiting these homes allows me to feel the joy that service gives.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

A core fundamental truth is that we are all Heavenly Father's children regardless of age, race, or religion. The Church focuses on blessing all of Heavenly Father's children. The Church has donated over $1 billion in cash and material assistance to 167 countries in need of humanitarian aid. Many of these countries have little or few members. I personally, spend two years of my life in the Philippines giving service and teaching people who were not members of the Church. What an incredible opportunity this was to help bless other people's lives! I am proud to be a member of Christ's Church that strives to bless and help all of Heavenly Father's children.
