Hi I'm Alex

I love being on the swim team, I love Star Wars, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Alex Tuft. I am the son of a Lt. Colonel who serves as a pediatric gastroenterologist in the US Air Force. My family has moved almost a dozen times, but I've lived in Washington, California, Maryland, Virginia, and Texas, and Utah mostly. I served a mission in the wonderful West African nation of Ghana, where I . I am currently in my sophomore year at Brigham Young University studying Accounting. I love spending time with my family, watching movies, going to swim practice, playing piano, and hanging out with friends! One day I hope to marry in the temple to start the seeds of an eternal family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the Lord's church established on the Earth. I know that this is the Lord's authorized organization to perform sacred ordinances, and I want to have claim to the blessings associated with those ordinances, such as knowledge, eternal family, and eternal life. I love the Savior and his message, and I know that the restoration of his church and gospel are a token of our Heavenly Father's love for us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not being ashamed to tell others what I believe. I love sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and of living prophets. In fact, to most on my high school swim team I was known as "Mormon." My mission was definitely a highlight of my life, and as I have returned home I hope to be able to keep up the spiritual power I enjoyed while I was on the Lord's errand full-time. I think that the best way to live the faith is to keep the commandments and serve others.
