Hi I'm Bryan

I am from Georgia,USA. I am an Eagle Scout and am a missionary of Jesus Christ serving in the France Paris Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old, I have 5 sisters and am the only brother. I am an Eagle Scout. I love to go fishing. It is one of my greatest passions.I love Disney and I love to collect things like coins and baseball cards. I love to play baseball, basketball, football, and ultimate frisbee. I love to water ski and wake-board.In High-School, i served in the NJROTC program where i quickly became a leader. It was a place where i learned crucial leadership qualities like Integrity, Dependability, and Love. I strive to become like Christ in every way. I love to spend time with my family. I love to go camping, vacations with them and i love to just be with them around the house. I am currently on a full time 2 year mission, called to serve in the France-Paris mission French Speaking, to invite others to come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because being able to know the gospel lifts me up in my daily activities. The gospel gives me easy guidelines for me to follow. I love it and all of the the people around me. Being mormon allows me to stand out it a good way. It gives me comfort to know Heavenly Father's true plan for us and to know that he died for us just because he loves us and wants us to be with him again. I am a mormon because I know this Church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ and was translated by the power of the Holy Ghost through Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ died for us so that we may have a way to live in God's presence again. I know that this Church has the Fullness of the Gospel. I know that God answers our prayers and in know that Families can live together forever. I have a strong testimony of Missionary work. I know that the Holy Ghost will be our constant companion to guide us, comfort us, and to lead us as long as we are obedient to the Commandments of God. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live by my faith by setting goals for myself. i listen to appropriate music and i try my best to watch appropriate movies. i follow the word of wisdom and the law of Chasity. I do well against peer pressure but praying every morning always helps. Praying for missionary experiences, to me, is one of the best ways i am able to test my knowledge of the gospel and to test my faith. I also try to help others every chance i get. I want others to be just as happy as i am. My Friends and Family are a huge help when it comes to living the Gospel. I choose the right friends that i know will support me and will not go against what i believe and what i stand for. And i know that my family will always be there for me even when no one else is there for me. My family is a huge help in my life because of the love and respect we have for each other. I also live my faith by having a girlfriend whose standards are just as high as mine and whose testimony is strong and still is trying to increase her faith in Jesus Christ. I have learned in my life that the Lord will teach you through those who are faithful and obedient to ALL of the commandments. Scripture study has become an essential part of my testimony. I know that the Book of Mormon can answer every question i have, and all i have to do to receive those answers is two things. 1. pose a question that i want answered. 2. Read. I try to follow the example of the faithful people in my life, including Christ, to better myself in every way.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is a very important because we all strive to the same goal: Eternal Life. What is so important about this is that we can be sealed to our families which allows us to be with them forever. That is why every member of the family must live by the gospel so that the whole family can live together in the after-life. Also, the family is a support system. We help each other out in difficult situations and we uplift each other when we are feeling down. We learn everything from our families: manners, eating, potty training, discipline, etc. As children it is important for us to be taught well so we can help make the family stronger and closer when we are older. How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We can increase of faith by following the Commandments of God. Test them. See for yourself what happens when you obey the commandments of God. I can promise you that as you follow the commandments of God, you will feel the Holy Ghost testify to you that your choices are the right choices and you will begin to see the truth of these commandments. You will start to feel happiness and joy and peace. You will feel Comfort and you will start to get an understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and start to build your own testimony. Also, you can increase your faith by studying the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. The Lord can answer ALL of your questions through the Book of Mormon. All you have to do is ask the Lord your question and read. And the Lord will answer you through a scripture or a feeling, etc. Show more Show less
