Hi I'm Nick

I love to fix and build things, I'm always looking for an adventure, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the South Puget Sound region of Washington State. After graduating from high school I went on to serve as a full-time missionary for the LDS Church in the Montana Billings Mission. That was the experience that set the stage for the rest of my life. Having the opportunity to provide service for those in need and to share my personal testimony of Jesus Christ on a daily basis gave me a perspective on life that I am forever grateful for. After serving a mission I graduated from Green River Community College with an Associate's Degree, Western Governor's University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, and from Western Governor's University Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. My wife and I were married in the Seattle Temple (located in Bellevue, WA), and have two boys. Being a dad is the coolest job in the world! As a family we enjoy most outdoor activities, especially camping at the ocean. I've worked for a drilling company as a project manager and estimator since 2007. Before that I was involved in residential construction.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon in an area where there were many other religions available. I attended other services with my friends on occasion to get a feel for their views and beliefs. As I reached the latter part of my teenage years I came to the conclusion that the way I wanted to live my life, and the goals I hoped to achieve, would be best realized by living and following the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a Mormon because everything in the church revolves around family, and that's the most important thing to me.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith each day by being the best husband, father, neighbor, friend, and employee I can. My goal is to do a little better than I did the day before. Some days that happens and some days it doesn't, but sometimes you have to take a step backward so you can take two steps forward.
