Hi I'm Catherine Halcomb

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Oklahoma, and I am a convert.

About Me

I am a widow, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Love to sew, knit, crochet, and do needlework to share with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after looking for many years to find a church that had the truth. I felt in my heart that there was more than what I had been taught as a child. The church has been such a great blessing to me because of now knowing about the plan of salvation, for I know now that I will be with my husband and family in the next life for eternity. My testimony grows each day with the blessings that I receive from a loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have served many callings. My favorite is Visiting Teaching. Visiting Teaching brings me closer to the sisters in the Ward. Now that I am a widow it is such a blessing to have a Hometeacher that takes time to be a help me in all my needs. I love reading the scriptures and books that help me to live the Gospel to the fullest.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Catherine Halcomb
I believe that families will be together forever in the next life. I am so very thankful for this, it gives me peace to know about the plan of salvation. Show more Show less
