Hi I'm Erin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a newlywed. A recent college graduate. I love gardening and being outside. I am learning how to cook.

Why I am a Mormon

From the beginning my story of being a Mormon is similar to a lot of people. My parents were both members and when I turned eight I followed in their footsteps and got baptized as well. A few years later my world came crumbling down when my parents decided to get a divorce along with leaving the church. All of my 4 sisters ended up quitting church when my parents did. At 13 years old I had a decision. Choose to stay home on Sundays with the rest of my family or continue to go to church. I choose to go to church. It was the only place that was stable in my life. When I was there life made sense. It was during this time of struggle that my relationship with Christ really began. I read the Book of Mormon, pondered the words of the living prophet, and prayed for help, comfort and guidance. I knew and still know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. He can give us comfort in times of struggles. I am grateful for the faith I have gained of Christ and how staying close to Him can make my life more blessed than I ever thought possible.

How I live my faith

Right now I have been asked to teach the youth in our area different dances that they will be performing for the community in a few months. The dance program is to celebrate Arizona's 100th birthday.
