Hi I'm Natalie Salisbury

I am a full time missionary in California. I am a mormon and I love it.

About Me

I'm Natalie. I am currently in high school. I like to draw. I also enjoy listening to music, especially intrumental music. I can also play the flute and I am teaching myself to play the piano. Family and friends are a big part of my life. They help me through everything, especially my friend who is always there for me, Christ. I love giving service!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i have felt in my own heart that it is true. When I was about 13 I felt it was true for the first time and I knew it for myself. I went to Nauvoo, IL to see where the early pioneers had once been. I know they truly believed Joseph Smith to be called as a Prophet of Jesus Christ. I know Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet. I know we have a living prophet who leads and guides us in this very confused world. I know families can be together forever. I know the Holy Ghost leads and guides, comforts, and inspires me. I know repentance is possible because Christ suffered for our sins. I know that Christ lives and loves you and me. And last of all, I know Christ's gospel to be restored on this earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to the many people I see at school everyday. I see school as a great opportunity to share things I know to be true to them. I always like to encourage the youth at church to live the standards Christ has set for us. There are many service projects I participate in: cleaning up after the tornado, babysitting for parents to participate in church activities, cleaning up parks and painting pavilions, heping people move, and much, much more. I have receieved special recognition for achieving goals and projects in the following areas: faith, divine nature, individual worth, knowledge, choice and accountability, good works, integrity, and virture.
