Hi I'm Christina

I am a wife and mother. I’m a pianist, a distance runner, an avid reader, and an adoption social worker. And I’m a Mormon.

About Me

After college, my husband and I moved to the Northwest and have lived here for the majority of our married lives. We have four small children, including twins. I have built homes for charity in Mexico, played collegiate ultimate frisbee, and facilitated adoptions nationwide. I love the outdoors, anything from rock climbing to beach camping. I love making friends, going to new places, and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but when I was a youth I had to decide for myself what I believed in. I prayed to my Father in Heaven about His Church on the earth and about the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon. I received personal revelation that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. In the Bible, it says “by their fruits ye shall know them,” and that is how I feel about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s brought me the greatest happiness and blessings I could have ever imagined for my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life so my actions are consistent with my beliefs as a Christian. I strive to be like the Savior, by serving others and doing what He would do if He were personally on the earth at this time. We try to make our home a heaven on earth by having daily family prayer and scripture study, and doing wholesome family activities. At church on Sundays, I teach the three-year-olds about Jesus!
