Hi I'm Bethany

I am the wife of a farmer, the mother of three beautiful children, an amateur cake artist; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of three beautiful kids. I have a girl and two boys, and they keep me on my toes. I had no idea motherhood would be such a challenge. I grew up on a farm, and even though I set goals to stay away from farming as an adult, I went and married a farmer anyway. I guess he was just such a wonderful man, that farmer or not, I couldn’t resist. I am also an amateur cake decorator. I have always loved to create, and this allows me to get out my creative energy without filling up my house with stuff!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life, I have taken the time to gain my own testimony that this church is true. I love the simple plan of happiness my Heavenly Father has for me. I know who I am and I know why I’m here. My favorite part of belonging to this church is that I now know that revelation is present on the Earth today. I know there is a prophet that leads this church through revelation, and I know I can turn to my Heavenly Father and gain answers to my prayers. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon is such a wonderful complement to it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working each day to live more like Jesus would want me to. I am a work in progress, but I try to pray and read my scriptures daily. I try each day to be a better wife, mother and member of the community. I am trying to teach my children to have faith in Jesus Christ and to know that He loves them. I also work with the young women in my ward. I love helping them learn more about themselves and their relationship to God. I love seeing their youthful enthusiasm for life and watching them as they begin to realize that they are truly daughters of God.
