Hi I'm Jake

I was born in Tennessee! I moved to Sweden when i was 8! I'm a mormon! :)

About Me

My name is Jacob Larsson and I was born in Nashville Tennessee! When I was around 8, my family moved to Sweden so that we could be closer to the Swedish side of my Family (dad’s side). I have lived there for eleven years now! I can’t really decide whether I am more Swedish or American. I love music! I play the piano and the guitar. I just recently learned how to play the ukulele! Creating music is one of the things I enjoy the most! Other than that, I love going to lakes and chilling, and having movie nights with friends. I love being spontaneous and doing things out of the ordinary! I have not decided yet on what i want to become, but i do know that i want to have a family of my own someday and always be a devoted Christian.

Why I am a Mormon

To me, being a Mormon is everything. Growing up in Sweden, I was the only Mormon around. Being a Mormon was hard sometimes, but looking back I am so thankful for my faith and obedience to the commandments. Following God is the only way to freedom and lasting happiness. IN my opinion, Mormonism is the only religion that really makes sense to me. I am a Mormon because I have read the book of Mormon and know it is true, that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, we too can return to our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a two year mission for the church I belong to. The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I am a full time missionary in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. I love the people I am serving and the different missionaries I get to work with each day. Serving as a missionary and teaching the Gospel has brought me so much happiness and peace. I know that the work I am doing is so important! As I serve Christ feel as though I am coming closer and closer to him, and ultimately returning to our Father In Heaven. My mission is preparing me for becoming a better son, a better brother and someday a better husband and a better father.
