Hi I'm Jill

I'm a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, youth leader... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife...to a football playing Chiropractor. I am a mom...of three beautiful children. I am a daughter...of parents who taught me to be me and to do it well. I am a sister...of 4 sisters and 1 brother...he is the baby! I am a friend...who I exercise with, eat with and serve in the church with. I am a Youth Leader...which I love. I am a Mormon...because it helps me with all of the above!

Why I am a Mormon

My life has been very blessed with great parents, always having the things we needed and having the gospel of Jesus Christ taught in our home. We would sometimes stop and say, "nothing really bad has ever happened to our family" as we would see others struggling with their trials. That is until it happened to my family. Becky, my sister, passed away in childbirth 10 years ago. This brought my family to it's knees...in devastation and in prayer. This experience could have destroyed my faith. Instead it strengthened it. As a child I learned in church and in my home that "families can be together forever". I taught that truth as a missionary. Now it was put to the test. Did I believe that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ would allow me to see my sister again? Yes, I did. How grateful I am to a loving Father in Heaven who provides a plan for me and my family. I know it to be true and it guides my life everyday.

How I live my faith

Right now I work with the young women in our church. I help them to strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ, live the standards of the church, and have fun! I also sing in a choir and visit a couple sisters a month in a program called "visiting teaching". I love the opportunities I have to serve in these capacities. My faith in Jesus Christ is strengthened, it helps me to live what I know is right and I definitely have fun doing it!
