Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a full-time Missionary, a Brother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and Raised in Texas, love to both play and watch sports including Basketball, Football, and swimming. I am a HUGE fan of music and it is very influencial in your life, I am serving a full time mission Currently in the Carlsbad CA Mission which has been the best choice I have made so far in life which is helping me shape myself and find myself.

Why I am a Mormon

When people ask me why I'm mormon, they tend to think its because thats how I was raised. We sometimes forget we need to have our own experiences that build ourselves up and not continually hanging on the "tail coats" of our friends or family. The reason why I'm Mormon is because I have recieved an answer from God that this is all true, and that conversion came when I was 18. That Conversion included reading the Book of mormon, pondering in my heart its teachings and God's merciful love, and listening to my heart when he answered me

How I live my faith

I study the scriptures Daily, and am on my knees multiple times a day asking the Lord for guidance of finding people who are prepared to recieve us and make the commitment to follow christ and keep his commandments, including baptism. I Attend church weekly and all day every day from 6:30-9pm I am serving the Lord with all of my heart mind might and strength

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Aaron
Mormon's Baptize new members because it is a promise between us and God. Christ is that connection between us and God. The reason why we need a mediator is because in the Beginning Adam and Eve partook of the Forbidden fruit. This was a choice they made and because of their choice there were concequences including making wrong choices, which separate us from God and having imperfect bodies. (2Nephi 2:22-25) Baptism is promising to follow Jesus, and as Christ was baptized by John the Baptist who had authority from God, we to must be baptized by such.(John 3:26-27) Through this, Christ will be the way we can recieve Eternal Life, which is, living with God and our families forever. (John 3:16) Just like John the baptist was a prophet and baptized, there is a prophet on the earth and 12 apostles who have been given power from God to Baptize. Show more Show less
