Hi I'm Judy

I love serving people, I facilitate a drug recovery group, teach Better Parenting, I have MS, use a wheel chair and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of five children and 17 grandchildren. I came down with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 35 years ago. I love family reunions, gatherings and traditions. I am actively involved in the comunity serving as a Big Sister, coordinate a yearly recognition event of 'Family of the Year', teach a Better Parenting Class and facilitate a weekly support group of Mom's Off Meth. I champion the under dog, the down hearted and less fortunate. My MS has advanced to a point where I use both a walker and wheel chair but I know I will walk again some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I know and understand the importance of strong families in today's world and to be able to live together after this life as we follow the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. I know that families can be together forever. I know that we have a living prophet today and that gives me comfort and peace as he leads and guides us in following Christ.

How I live my faith

I stand with integrity with the organizations that I serve and work with. My reputation among the struggling and less fortunate is one of caring and concern. My father was a funeral director and with that example of caring and understanding, it has allowed me to reach and understand others and in a way demonstrate the love I have for my Savior in my actions towards them. I can no longer drive a car due to my vision and physical challenges but thanks to my husband and others I am still able to serve.
