Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I am a mother and a grandmother.

About Me

I love spending time with my family. I love being a wife, mother and grandmother. I like to cook and love being a homemaker. I currently serve as an ordinance worker in the Mesa Temple. I love serving there.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! Although I was baptized at age 8, and grew up with parents, and grandparents who were members of the Church, I sought out my own testimony while in high school. After I finished reading the Book of Mormon, I followed the counsel of my seminary teacher to pray and ask if that book was true. I received a confirmation of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and each time I read from it, I receive that confirmation again. I also prayed to know if Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God and received a confirmation that he was. I have been actively engaged in Church service and have been given many opportunities to serve in various capacities which have helped reinforce my testimony of the divinity of the Lord's work. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a Sunday teacher (once a month) in the women's organization. I also serve as a visiting teacher. The three sisters I visit each month have become dear friends that I love and care about. I also serve as a part-time service missionary, coordinating with my husband "The Strengthening Marriage/Strengthening Families" missionaries for 45 stakes here in the Valley. I serve in the Mesa Temple two days each week.
