Hi I'm Shane Williams

I grew up in southern California. i love Baskett balland football. I am curently serving a mission in WA. and im a mormon.

About Me

I love to draw, play baskett ball, foot ball, i love cars and motor cycles, fixing bikes and i love to text all my friends. I would love to go into the Medical field or into the Coast Gaurd. I am an Eagle scout, i love to do hard work like moving heavy boxes. I have lived in Southern California, Denver Colorado, Spring Texas, Toano and Williamsburg Virginia, and North Carolina, I am Curently serving a mission in Edmonds, Washington.

Why I am a Mormon

When i was 9 and 1/2yrs old i was put in a foster home. i lived there for over three years till the courts decided that me and my two younger sisters would go up for adoption. i was devistated, and i think that it was the first time that i have ever prayed, but i said a prayer where i asked to go home. Thats all that i wanted, and the Lord answered that Prayer, just not in the way that i expected. We were soon in the process of being adopted, the 3 of us together. The family was mormon and untill then i knew very close to nothing about the church. But i started to go to church with them and started to have the lessons with the missionaries. i was baptized when i was 14. that was the begaining of the many blessings that i have recieved. God heared my prayers, and he answered them. i love my family, if it werent for the church i wouldnt be the person that i am today. I owe the Lord everything that i have. Thats one reason that i am on a mission for God, He has given me everything and i want to repay what i can by serving Him and the people around me. I know this church is true, i have no doubts in my mind or heart.

How I live my faith

I have tried to always do my best in helping others with anything that i could. As an Eagle Scout i have done quite a bit for the comunity and other Churches not of my faith. I built a 0.6mile trail for a meninite church along with 3 bridges that were 14ft, 16ft, and 24ft long and each could hold a ton. At this point in my life i was in Toano, Virginia. Over my lifetime i have helped over 20 people move. I have done over 400 hours of service for all the comunities that i have lived in over all, and i have loved every minute of it. Service is one of the things that i just love to do. I love to see the smiles of the people that i serve, and that is my payment. I also love to draw things for people and send them. I think its really cool to do that and see how something so simple brightens someones day.
