Hi I'm Rhonda

Hi. I'm Super Mom! I have 7 fabulous children. I have a zest for life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated in Interior Design from Ricks College. I love to play any sport. I enjoy hiking and camping. I love spending time with my family and friends doing just about anything. I love life, and I love being a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have a testimony that this church is true. I know that God has a plan for us and he has prepared a way for us to return to Him. I know that God the Father and His son Jesus Christ, did in fact appear to the young Joseph Smith. Sometimes we find modern miracles hard to comprehend or believe. Yet we believe the Bible stories that teach us that Moses parted the Red Sea with his staff. God had the power to help Moses and the children of Israel way back then, and he also is here for us now! I believe that the keys of the priesthood were restored through Joseph Smith and we can enjoy the blessings of that power by making a keeping sacred covenants. We can be baptized as Jesus showed us how to with the proper authority. When we get married, we can be sealed together for time and all eternity because of this priesthood power. In short, our lives can be richly blessed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. This life can be hectic and anything but bliss. My faith as a Mormon gives me strength to withstand the trials that come my way. I know that God does hear and answer our prayers. Take the time to humbly ask Him if the Book of Mormon is true. Ask Him if the teachings of the Mormon church true. He will assure you that they are with a simple feeling of peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be Christlike. I try to care for others as the Savior did. I try to be a good neighbor and friend. I try to be a good wife and mother. In all that I do, I ask myself, what would Jesus do? I don't always live up those lofty expectations, but I'm grateful that I can repent when I need to and gather strength to do better. I know the Lord loves us all in and wants us to do our best to be like Him.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Life is priceless! The Mormon church opposes abortion except in the rare cases where, in the opinion of competent medical counsel, the life or good health of the mother is seriously endangered or where the pregnancy was caused by rape and causes serious emotional trauma for the mother. Even then it should be done only after serious consideration and divine confirmation through prayer. Show more Show less
