Hi I'm Richard G Leonard

I love the Savior and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona have been around horses all my life. I played all sports in high school, being on the State Football team, State track team. I loved Softball building a team and going on to win the World Championship in 1983, then retiring. All these things plus more were great fun but not as great as being a good Priesthood Man and being able to do all the different callings I've been assigned over the year and YES I'm a MORMON!!!

Why I am a Mormon

As my father was not a Mormon I didn't get to go to church as much as I wanted. So I really didn't learn as much about the gospel as I should have. When I turned 18 I left my Father and Mothers home to live with two of the best people in the world my Mothers Parents who were fully involved with the building up of the Lords kingdom here on earth. As I learned the things I had missed as a young boy I couldn't believe what I was about to find in my life. That would be a Sunday School teacher telling me the greatest Story I have ever heard. That would be the Vision of Joseph Smith seeing and talking with Heavenly Father and the Savior. Now I know that I had most likely been told the story many times before but this time, I was amazed that I didn't already know this but I have never forgotten the teacher and the humble way he told the story. He might not even remember me or what happen that Sunday morning but it changed my life and let me know that Joseph Smith was the greatest man next to the Savior. Thank you so much Gene R. Cook.

How I live my faith

I tell everyone I meet about how lucky it is to be a Mormon, I have many, many faith promoting stories, and a lot of Baptisms. Come on everyone join the party and lets tell our story .....
