Hi I'm Jerre

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been in banking for 38 years. I enjoy traveling, reading, playing the piano.and cooking.I served a mission in Austria and lived for a number of years in American Samoa.I have moved around throughout my years and lived in Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Arizona and Utah. I have a wonderful wife and enjoy traveling with her and spending time with her. i also have one son and two stepchildren of whom i am proud of their accomplishments. We are fortunate to have 6 grandsons as of this time.My wife and I also enjoy dancing, watching classic tv shows and classic movies and spending time with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have the privilege of having ancestors who were present when the church was organized by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I have had great examples of family and friends who live the gospel.I am grateful that the Lord restored His church for the blessings to be enjoyed by everyone who is seeking it. I do have a testimony of the Gospel, that Jesus is our Savior, and that he loves us and wants us to follow his example. I am grateful for the knowledge that a prophet of God is upon the earth today and that there has been one since Joseph Smith. These great men are called of the Lord just as Moses and Abraham were called and they are the Lord's mouthpiece today. The Gospel brings so much happiness into our lives as we live the principles that have been restored by our Heavenly Father. This life is but a small part of our eternal existence and I look forward to meeting and being with those family and friends who have passed on to the other side where they continue to progress and learn. I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and goes hand in hand with the Bible to testify of Jesus Christ, and the greatest testimony is that Jesus appeared to the inhabitants of the old world here in America. So , I feel fortunate to have this additional witness.

How I live my faith

I enjoy the opportunity to participate in the programs of the church. I enjoy reading the scriptures and learning of those of great faith. I have the opportunity to teach classes, play the organ and visit members homes.
