Hi I'm Becky

I am a wife and mother. I am an online Special Education teacher. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the man of my dreams. He is an incredible husband and father. We met online, which used to embarrass me, but it's so common now, it's no big deal. We are blessed to have children and I can't imagine my life without my little family. I've had the opportunity to live in several states and now reside in Pennsylvania. I love the mountains, photography, crafting, blogging, playing with my family, and reading. I wish life would slow down and I could savor each moment, but alas, times keeps ticking by way too quickly! I also work at home as a Special Education Teacher for an online school. Our life is full, and although we have our trials, we couldn't be happier!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a devout Latter-Day Saint family who taught me the Gospel through word and deed. One night when I was a teenager, I found myself on my knees in prayer asking if this church was true. A feeling that has no words but can only be described as incredible peace, joy, and humility came over me. I knew then, that without a doubt, that this church is true. in college, I didn't always make the correct choices, but I always knew that the Gospel would bring me joy and peace. I am so thankful that I am able to receive personal revelation to guide me and my family through this journey of life. I know that Jesus Christ took upon the sorrows and grief of the world and that through his love and grace, we will be saved. I know He lives and loves me. I know Joseph Smith is a true prophet of the Lord. I know the Book of Mormon contains the words of past prophets and if applied to day, will guide me and my family through our trials and tribulations. I am a Mormon because of the inner faith, peace, and joy that I feel each and every day of my life.

How I live my faith

Everyday I try to live my faith. I like to get up early in the morning before my children awake, and take time to pray and read my scriptures. I know that this sets my day for the better. I try to teach my young children each day to pray and follow the Spirit. Every evening, we try to have family prayer and scripture study. Every month, I try to visit a few women in our church to see if they need any help and to sit and chat and get to know each other better. Our family attends church each Sunday and I teach lessons each month to fellow women as well as work with our missionaries. I really feel like we try to live our faith every minute of the day.
