Hi I'm Dawn

I was raised by wonderful parents. I am married to the love of my life, Chad. I love being a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a busy mother of four children and I love making my home a refuge from the world. I know it's important that our children have a safe, loving home to return to each day and I enjoy doing whatever necessary to ensure that that happens. I enjoy cooking, home improvement projects and working in my yard. I also enjoy getting exercise as often as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in 1989 while a senior in high school, and it is without question the best decision I have ever made. Before becoming a member of the church, I had seen way too much darkness, mostly due to my own poor decisions. What an incredible blessing it has been to receive the light of Jesus Christ in my life. Being a Mormon brings me so much peace and happiness and I am so grateful that I have the amazing foundation of this church to help me raise my children. One of the key pieces of knowledge that I have gained from becoming a Mormon, is that I am without doubt, a daughter of my Heavenly Father who loves me more that I can measure. I see how important it is to instill that same knowledge in our children and how that knowledge can positively affect the decisions they make.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to serve in the women's organization in my ward (local congregation) and I love doing it. I can testify that we are blessed beyond measure when we take time for others and we may never know or understand the impact we have on them as well. I also live my faith by striving to be a good example to those around me. It's not always easy if I'm having a particularly bad day, but I continue to try. I am so thankful for the blessing of being able to pray to God for guidance in all things and the ability to turn to the Scriptures to reference the teachings of Jesus Christ since He is the ultimate example.
