Hi I'm Jedd

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of 3 kids. I'm a chemical engineer by training and have worked in both the pharmaceutical and food industries. I love the outdoors and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because first of all I believe in Jesus Christ, namely, that he is our Savior and Advocate with the Father. I also believe His gospel was restored on earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon, which was translated by Joseph Smith, has brought me closer to Christ and helped me to better understand His true nature and most importantly the great love He has for all of us.

How I live my faith

I really enjoy serving others in my church. I've done a lot of different things within the church from serving as a teacher, counselor, organizer, secretary and clerk. I also served a 2-year mission to Seoul Korea when I was 19 years old. I also like to serve my community as a whole. I've been a coach for youth sports and participated in many community service projects cleaning up and repairing parks, humane societies, community centers, and safe houses for abused women and children. I believe that through serving others, we are, in fact, serving God. However, the most important thing that I do to live my faith has to do with my role as a husband and father. Like most parents, I just want the best for my kids. I try and do all that I can to build for them a better future. I love to read to them and play games with them, but most importantly I love to teach them about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm far from perfect, but I do recognize that most of my teaching is done through example.
