Hi I'm Dayna

I'm am a mom, a wife, pediatric nurse, I love going on adventures, dancing, learning, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a mother of young children, most of my time these days is spent with my kids: reading them books, taking them to the park, coloring, eentsy weentsy spider, pat-a-cake, you name it; and of course lots of laundry and surprises! A few days of the week I go to the Children's hospital, as a pediatric nurse, to take care of the sick kids there, which I enjoy. When I do get some free time, I love blogging, hiking, getting together with girlfriends, anything chocolate, dancing, going on adventures, reading books and just having fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth again in its fullness with living prophets today. I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me happiness, joy, peace and hope. The teachings of the church give me great understanding about who I am, where I came from, why I am here on earth, and where I am going. This understanding allows me overcome hard times in my life, and gives me great purpose and direction. I know I we are all children of God and that He loves us and wants us to be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily trying to do those things that will strengthen my family, and my relationship with God, and by looking for ways to serve others. I try to go to church every week. I have assignments in church that I do; for example I used to be in charge of the girls youth group, and now I serve in other ways visiting other women and working with kids. As a family we try to say family prayers every night, and have a family night once a week. I guess I just strive to be a little better of a person every day and try to live as Jesus Christ taught.

In whom should we have faith?

We should have faith in Jesus Christ. I love that we can put our whole trust and faith in Him, and as we do we will be blesses. Faith is not just something casual that happens it requires action and works. If you have faith you do, you follow, you move forward with that faith and with it comes power. Show more Show less
