Hi I'm Cori

I'm a wife, a Mom, an Interior Designer, a Beauty Consultant, I love to sing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I traveled to every state in the continental United States and I have an abiding love for the beauty of this country. I still adore traveling and meeting new people. I've been married for 43 years to the same cute guy. We have three lovely girls, two awesome sons and they have given us eight grand children who rock our world! Being a grandma is simpy the best! I have a passion for art and design and ran my own interior design business for 34 years. I currently enjoy design cousulting, and a lively beauty consulting business which keeps me very active. Interacting with women of all ages is truly a delight. Music is my inspiration and I enjoy it all, from rock to the old masters. Singing with the Colorado Mormon Chorale is pure joy and has afforded me some delightful experiences with people of many faiths. It is true that music is the universal language. With a song in my heart and a smile on my face, life is good! I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Whether you were born into the folds of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or you found the gospel along your life's path, there must be that abiding conviction, that defining moment, or a series of them, when your faith becomes knowledge. For me, that testimony began as a child reading the stories in the Bible and the Book of Mormon and my testimony has grown through my experiences until this day. I know with out question that the Savior is there for me. I have had several of those defining moments in my life. One of the toughest struggles of my life was living through two of my children pulling away from all we had taught them and experiencing rebellion in the extreme. There were times when it seemed life was pure hell. It shattered my self esteem. Ultimately, it was my testimony of the Savior that held fast and kept me sane. When I was at my wits end and feeling a failure, Jesus Christ wraped me in the warm blanket of his love and awareness of me and my suffering, and gave me the salve to heal my heart as only he can do. He made me strong through the experience and I learned so much about unconditional love, patience and agency and a better understanding of my purpose here. He gave me a glimpse of seeing through his eyes. I thanks him every for what he has done for me. Through my understanding of the atonement is infinitesimal the gratitude I feel for it shapes my life and keeps me moving toward the Light....

How I live my faith

Attending church on Sunday is a highlight in my week. It's my spiritual boost or shot-in-the-arm. Currently, I serve as a teacher to the women in Relief Society, and am the new Choir Director in our Ward. I also practice every Wednesday for two hours with the Colorado Mormon Chorale, an auditioned choir of talented men and women who lift their voices in song and thanksgiving to the Lord. We perform in various venues thoughout the Denver Metro Area presenting ten to sixteen concerts in a season. I love sharing the Gospel through music. Living the gospel is part of me; it defines me and it certainly makes me a better wife, mother, grandmother ("Mema"), and friend.
