Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a mother. My favorite hobby is scrapbooking so I can make books to remember all the wonderful people and events that have happened in my life. I like to listen to music- it is very soothing to my soul although I am not talented in the area of playing or singing. My kids keep me very busy but are the most wonderful blessing in my life. My husband is my best friend and more than I could have ever dreamed of.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon. My parents were converts early in their marraige and chose to raise us kids Mormon. I never really knew any different. My parents divorced when I was nearly 2 so I didn't know them together or understand the full blessings of the priesthood in my home or concept of eternal marriage. As I went through my teenage years and early adult life I had to decide if I wanted to live this same life that my parents had in a sense chosen for me- to be a Mormon. After much soul searching, pondering, fasting, and prayer- I knew that this was the life I wanted for myself and my future family. It was only through the principals of the Gospel that I could have true happiness and that I would eventaully find my eternal companion. I am so thankful that my parents listened to the missionaries all those years ago and that I made the decission for myself to live this life and am now raising my family in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person each day but know that I have a lot of flaws and things I need to work on too- no one is perfect. I live with the desire to treat others as I would want to be treated. I am honest with those around me and expect people to be honest with me as well. I work with the youth group at church- specifically the 12-18 year old girls. It is so much fun to watch them learn and grow. They have such sweet spirits. I love to visit with other sisters within the church- to see how they are doing or take them a meal in time of need. I would consider myself a very active member of my church- for our family, our church is our lifestyle, not just something we do on Sunday.
