Hi I'm Collette

I'm a runner, cyclist, instructor, mother, wife, friend...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm your typical middle class mom/wife, who delicately balances her life around her children, husband and community. I can be found running my kids around our small town, making meals, cleaning the house, mowing the lawn, playing in my garden, running, cycling, teaching fitness classes, and taking every opportunity to escape outside. I enjoy exploring the world around me, all the while trying not to leave too big of a footprint. I try to live by the saying " be the change you hope to see in the world". I'm just another woman in this world attempting to leave things a little bit better than I found them.

Why I am a Mormon

Because knowing that I am a daughter of God, and having a set plan allows me to live my life to the fullest. I know that God has sent me into this world with a purpose and direction. I know that great peace, love, and joy comes as a result of living my religion to it's fullest. I have been given so many vast opportunities to grow and develop my talents and abilities through the various programs and organizations within the LDS church. Service for others can teach better than anything! I am a Mormon because I know that as a mother, it helps me instil in my children a love of our savior, themselves, and the world that surrounds us. It provides me with the tools to seek out and understand my relationship with my savior, Jesus Christ. The number one reason I am a Mormon is because the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me the truthfulness and validity of the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I cannot deny the powerful knowledge I have received through prayerfully seeking truth!

How I live my faith

I hope I live my faith in every aspect of my life. If you know me, then you most likely know that I am a Mormon. Day to day I am just an average woman seeking the best in the world around me. I hope that I can glean wisdom and knowledge from others, and also share what has been given to me. There are so many beautiful people in the world of all faiths and nationalities. I feel inspired by others faith, and hope to continually share my faith with others, and they with me. I love my life! I love my family! I love being a Mormon!
