Hi I'm Tim

I am an Emergency Medical Technician. I am a rugby player. I'm a husband and middle child. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing rugby. I was introduced to the sport by a good friend of mine who learned how to play it while he was sharing the gospel with people in Australia. I have played for three different teams since I learned how to play (I even helped form one on my side of town). I would say that rugby is my second greatest passion in my life. My first would be my wife. I met her several years ago and time has just flown by since. I can't say it has always been easy, but I couldn't pick a better or more beautiful person to spend my life with. She even encourages me to play the game I love! She tells me that she is afraid I may hurt myself but that doesn't stop her from being the loudest person cheering for me in the stands. I received my Emergency Medical Technician Certification in 2010 and I love putting what I learned to use. I love helping others and I feel that I am here to improve the lives of others and save them if I am ever in a situation where I can help. I love my life, this hasn't always been the case, but I have fought (and still fight) through the rough times and because of that I can see the good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I was taught at a young age the importance of right and wrong, as well as learning for myself what is truth. I have had many phases in my life where I would rebel against my parents, friends, teachers, or teachings of the church; yet I would always return to the truths I found while reading the Book of Mormon, or while praying for help. I am a Mormon because I believe that my Father in Heaven loves me. I believe that Jesus Christ Bled and died for our sins. I believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ showed themselves unto Joseph Smith and revealed the fullness of the Gospel (such as in the times when Christ was on the earth in the Bible) has been restored once more. I have witnessed too many things to deny the truths I have witnessed being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I encourage everyone to listen to the truths taught, and pray to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I teach a group of 3-4 year old children each Sunday. I was scared my first time teaching them because I don't know anything about kids, but that changed quickly when I realized how fun and loving they are. They do try my patience at times but I wouldn't be anyplace else on Sunday mornings than in their classroom. I am actually starting to want to start having children of my own now. Outside of church I have never had a problem living my faith, but that does not mean that I force anyone to change how they act around me. I love everyone in this life, even those that annoy me at times. I just enjoy living among my friends in this life, whether of my religion or not. I believe we all are in this life together so we might as well get along and enjoy it the best we can.
