Hi I'm Gayle

I am a CPA who works from home and from a 45' bus when we travel around the country. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a CPA who loves to teach non-accountants the exciting aspects of financial statements! I live on a beautiful lake where we are able to have many visitors join us during the summer months. During the winter months when I am not working, I love to sit by the wood fireplace, look out at the snow and read mysteries.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Baptist. My grandparents were great examples to me of Christian love. When I moved away in my teens to a new town, I found that each of the Baptist churches I attended were quite different from the one of my childhood. I stopped going to church. When my daughter was born, I knew I had the responsibility to raise her in a faith. So, I started my search. I looked at many, many churches and at first discounted the LDS church. But, when I took the time to really pray, to read the Book of Mormon, and to ask questions, I knew the Mormon church was right. That was over 30 years ago and every day I am thankful I made that choice.

How I live my faith

I have been fortunate to work with teens, adults and children during the time that I have been a member. And, I love music! Right now I live in an area where we have only a couple of pianists. While I am far from a great pianist (average at best), I get to work on my piano playing as I accompany the children. They don't care as long as they can sing along...which they do so well! I volunteer in several organizations in the community and I love working with people from other faiths. We all love our Savior and are trying to help those in our area that are needy.
