Hi I'm Forrest

I grew up in San Diego, went to school in Hawaii, love to bodyboard, love being a dad and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 2 girls and have the most beautiful and amazing wife. I grew up in a home with a troubled brother and single mother doing her best. We grew a strong relationship and she always taught me how to love and respect women. Though I did not grow up with a father, many men in my church stepped up and assumed the role in my younger years. Now I have been fortunate to marry into a wonderful family with brothers, sisters, and in laws who exemplify Christlike love. My life has not been easy, but I have chosen to make it as rewarding and positive as I know how.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost in my heart tell me time and time again. My experience on my Mission (Independence, MO) taught me we are all sons and daughters of God. He loves us and wants us to be happy to one day live in his presence. I have seen that by the way the scriptures directs us to live our lives and by the directions from modern day prophets and apostles, we can strive to cure our imperfections and be perfected in Christ. I am a Mormon because it has directed me on a path of health, virtue, spirituality, and a desire to be good in a world that feeds off what is bad.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with others. I make sure others know my boundaries. I treat other people with respect for what they belive and who they are. I care about other people and want them to be happy. I let people know how I serve in my church and answer any and all questions when asked. I love people and feel we don't have to settle for being unhappy in our jobs, home, relationships, etc. Making a difference and showing people they are loved is where I get my energy. My faith has played a key role in how that plays out in my own life.
