Hi I'm Chanel

I am a mom of 3. I like to exercise, eat out, and spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of 3 wonderful kids. My husband and I have lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest since graduating from college and love spending time outdoors. As soon as there is a glimpse of good weather, we are outside whether it be boating, swimming, golfing, hiking, riding bikes, playing baseball, sledding or off roading. I also have a passion for flowers and was a floral designer before I had kids. Someday I plan to have a huge garden so I can pick my own flowers. I love eating out and trying new foods and will eat almost anything especially dessert.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful for the blessings living the gospel of Jesus Christ has provided me. Keeping myself morally clean has kept me free from danger and many of the pitfalls life brings. The world can be a confusing and challenging place. I have seen the consequences poor choices bring and know I am happier when I am striving to live a balanced, righteous life like our Savior. I am also grateful for a modern day prophet that leads and guides us through inspiration and direction from our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our prophet knows are times and what trials we currently face, individually and as a world. We have apostles and church authority from all over the world that speak many different languages but have one thing in common that unites us together. It is the gospel or message of good news. It is a message that we have a Father in Heaven that loves us. He wants us to return to him again and live with our families forever. Our Father in Heaven has provided a way through the atonement of Jesus Christ that makes that all possible. My knowledge of the gospel has helped me establish a righteous foundation of standards and values. Living the gospel is my greatest joy.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday and am grateful for the peace and comfort I feel inside my church. I feel the spirit often when I attend and am blessed to be surrounded by people that love and serve me and my fellowmen. I get to know people old and young, single and married, and people of many different nations that have been a great example to me. I have attended the mormon church in different parts of the world have have felt the same spirit of peace and comfort as I did in my own. After I had each of my 3 kids church members brought us dinner and would check up on me and how I was coping being a new mom. I have been able to enrich my life and learn new talents and hobbies through our women's organization. I have formed lasting friendships that I will always cherish.
