Hi I'm Linda

I'm happily married with two young kids. I'm a CPA. I'm a ballerina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spend most of my time playing with, feeding, and loving my 2 year old boy and 6 month old girl. Being a mom is by far the most challenging job I've ever had. But it's also the most rewarding, as I get paid in kisses and hugs. I have a wonderful husband who tells me he loves me every day, and he even loves me on my bad days. Before getting married & having children, I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters in Tax Accounting, got my CPA license, & worked in public accounting for a few years. Some of my hobbies include reading, organizing my house, playing piano, singing, and dancing ballet. I also love to travel by car, by plane, or by cruise ship. Someday my husband & I hope to travel to many places around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have come to know through prayer & studying that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church on this earth with the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This fullness of priesthood keys & authority was restored to earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that God sends prophets to lead & guide us (just like in the days of Adam, Abraham, & Moses), and today we have a prophet named Thomas S. Monson. Through obedience to God's commandments and through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, I know that all men & women can be saved and receive eternal life with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of this church, where our ward (congregation) takes care of each other just like a big family. For example, after having each of my babies, women from my ward brought meals to me. I've also brought meals to people who had new babies or who were sick. I am a "visiting teacher," which means that every month, I visit a couple of women in my ward. As I reach out to these women, friendships are created, & I'm there for them in times of need. I try to do something special for them on their birthdays, I pray for them, and I sometimes stop by their home with a plate of cookies. These small acts of service help us to love others the way that Jesus Christ loves each of us. Some other church callings I've held are: leader over the teenage girls aged 14-15, nursery children's leader, leader over the women, and gospel teacher.
