Hi I'm Dan

I'm crazy about my wife, kids and grandkids. I grew up in Cincinnati. I enjoy hard work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a degree in accounting and work in management. I enjoy watching and playing sports with the kids. I always have a garden growing. I like going to garage sales and book stores so I can add to my collection of scout books. I have attended Scout camp with our troop for over 20 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been very blessed to have grown up with parents who provided a near perfect example of how to love and care for one another. Being a Mormon has provided me with guidelines and standards to live by. I am grateful to have such a wonderful wife and family. I know that being a Mormon has contributed to our family unity, joy and happiness. I know the Lord answers prayers and gives us great love and comfort.

How I live my faith

Each year I volunteer to help plan and carry out the annual fall camporee for the Boy Scouts in our District. Attendance is normally over 450 scouts and leaders. Some of our themes have been: Ghost towns and gold mines, Western gunfighters and the Civil War. Serving as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts and for other community organizations helps me to live my Faith by providing service to youth in our community. I have served as a Scoutmaster for 15 years My wife and I have served on Sister City events to provide funds for High School Juniors to visit families of students from other countries for 6 weeks then bring a student back to live with their family for 6 weeks. Being active in the community and the Church has been a great blessing to our family by providing opportunities to teach our children the value of hard work and the joy of serving.
