Hi I'm Eric.

I'm an almost attorney. I like singing in barbershop quartets. I have a stamp collection. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two children and one on the way. They are a complete blessing (and challenge) in my life. My wife is able to stay at home with them and raise them the way our Heavenly Father wants. We are striving to bring up our children to be loving, thoughtful, and responsible citizens and leaders.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I prayed to God and found out through the Holy Ghost that this was His church. I feel the Holy Ghost when I attend church and know that God leads his children through a prophet today like he always has. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his son Jesus Christ who lead him to restore the true church on the earth and allowed him to translate the sacred writings contained in the Book of Mormon- Another Testament of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me daily strength to endure happily through the struggles and help others come unto Christ along the way. I love the Lord.

How I live my faith

Every day- one minute at a time. That's the only way I know to live the gospel and not get overwhelmed. This also makes managing my shortcomings easier. As a leader in the Young Men's program at church (I have the privilege of teaching gospel-centered lessons to young men ages 14-15), scouting is a wonderful opportunity for me to serve the young men in my area. This also helps build my faith. I have great confidence in these young men and am humbled to learn from them as I present gospel ideas each week in our lessons. We are in good hands with the youth of today- a Chosen Generation. But we must do our part and help them realize and remember their great potential.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Every time I am in the mountains or view the complexity of a "simple" flower I know that God lives. Show more Show less
