Hi I'm Craig

I am t-shirt screen printer, a father of five, bilingual and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a father, husband and family member. If I am not working in my shop hand printing t-shirts then you may find me at the lake waterskiing or fishing with my kids. I have learned to love the desert as my ancestors settled here five generations ago. The blue skies, fantastic sunshine and beautiful landscape make Arizona one of Gods special places. At age twelve I backpaced down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and ever since, I have a passion for hiking and exploring God's creations. Life is not always easy, but my parents carefully taught me to find the best in every person and situation. I will always be grateful for that example they gave me.

Why I am a Mormon

I've spent much of my life involved in the Church, but the reason I am a Mormon is not because of social convenience or the desire for acceptance or a personal crutch. I am a Mormon because I believe. I believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ. I believe that they love me and have given me opportunities to feel their love through this marvelous and peaceful feeling of the Holy Ghost, "the comforter." I believe that the love shared within a family and especially with a spouse is true love and a sacred bond that God intends to preserve beyond this life. As a good parent that he is, I believe that God has boundaries and gives us guidelines through living oracles (prophets). I believe he wants to help us achieve maximum experiences that will strengthen us and help us strengthen others. I feel that he wants us to have all of the blessings that he enjoys, but that he knows we must experience the joys and pains of mortality. I believe in the Bible. I believe in the words of prophets that spoke to God on the American continent and that those words are found in the Book of Mormon. I believe that both the Bible and the Book of Mormon testify of the reality of the Savior Jesus Christ. I believe that God has restored his Holy Priesthood on earth and that it will not be removed in these latter days. I believe that we should take the words of Jesus and Go forth preaching to every creature the gospel of Jesus Christ. These are just a few of my beliefs.

How I live my faith

Serving in the Church and community is a great joy. I have worked for many years with the youth and now as I prepare to be a grandfather I am grateful for those opportunities. One of the most rewarding assignments provided to me was to serve as the Scoutmaster of the local Boy Scout Troop. We hiked 50 miles in one week carrying most of our food and water and shelter on our backs the whole trip. It was incredible to see how strong the group of boys were that made the trip. We all knew that we could do hard things after that trip. I enjoy arising early with my wife to kneel by our bedside and supplicate our Heavenly Father for help to get us through the day. We also make the best attempt to read the scriptures together as a couple before we open the day of craziness that so often tears us into different directions. I am grateful for a supportive wife that treats mealtime as a very important event that all family members need to be present. One of our most treasured traditions in our family is our Sunday meal where we play the game of, "What did you learn today at church?" It helps each family member to reflect upon their teachings or simply an impression they received and what it means to them. It is not a superficial conversation. It is deep and thought provoking and each of our childrent look forward to sharing something of value even our littlest one.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is a law of health teaches us to eat good foods and to abstain from harmful substances that would impair our physical and mental strength. I am so grateful to have been taught these valuable principles as a youth...excersise and avoiding drugs have saved my life...i am certain. Show more Show less
