Hi I'm Logan

I'm a husband, a father, a med school student who loves to wake board and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 26 years old and a father to two beautiful kids who keep my life full of little adventures. I have a wonderful wife of four years and I would give the world to make her happy. I just started my first year of medical school August 2011. It has by far been the busiest time of my life. I love learning and have a passion for medicine and serving people. I love sports. I love a pickup game of basketball 5 on 5, 4 on 4, 1 on 1, it doesn't matter I love to play. I love being active and doing stuff outdoors. I absolutely love wakeboarding, snowboarding, fishing, and camping. There are few things better than a week at Lake Powell as far as I'm concerned. I used to work in electronics installing audio and video equipment in million dollar homes to pay for school. Previous to that I managed a powerwash business for my uncle. I cleaned bathrooms for almost a year in undergraduate to stay out of debt and now I'm living my dream of going to medical school.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was a kid my family always went to church. It was assumed our Sunday activity. My parents never forced my brothers and sisters and I to go but we always went. I loved it, I made great friends and spent my entire youth with a tight nit group of guys. We lifted each other up, had our fun, and made it through the challenging years alright. I owe the church for the great friends I have and people I get to associate with. After my youth I served a two year mission preaching the gospel in Honduras. It was their that I learned and saw how the gospel changes lives. I knew as a kid that the church was true it was just kinda built in to me. I had prayed and felt the spirit and knew that Heavenly Father loved me, but it was on my mission that my eyes were opened to the true meaning of the gospel. I saw lives change and people change and happiness fill the walls of once empty homes. I now know beyond any doubt that this is the Lords Church. My life has been full of happiness because I am so blessed to be a member.

How I live my faith

One of the many wonderful things about being a member is all of the opportunities to serve the people around you. I been able to serve in many different capacities over the last 26 years of being a member. But recently I was able to oversee a congregation of my peers, see to there needs, organize meetings, activities, Sunday services and a whole lot more, but the best and most important part was getting to know them and being a dependable friend. I love those people I got to know and serve. As members we often visit each other in our homes. My wife and I like to have other families over for dinner and games on Sundays. We like to get to know people. The Church is a great facilitator for bringing good people together. I love it.
