Hi I'm Dan

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona and have a twin brother. I love hanging out with family, friends, playing basketball, snowboarding, weight lifting, watching movies, and listening to music. I spent one year at school in Idaho before deciding to serve a mission for my Church. I plan to finish college and attend law school.

Why I am a Mormon

A big part of my choice to be apart of the church came from my brothers example. It was when I saw the change of heart my brother had as he turned over his life to Christ. I have never seen my brother so happy. Now, I grew up in the church and went until I graduated high school, but then I figured I'd try doing things my own way. I soon realized I wasn't as happy as I thought I was. So when I saw my brother make that change, I wanted to make the change. I became more actively involved in my church and did what I saw my brother do--read the Book of Mormon, pray, and attend the weekly sacrament meeting. The happiness and peace the gospel has brought into my life is lasting. I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me, who cares about me, who knows exactly who I am. I know He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for me and enable me to improve the quality of my life. I believe that Christ's church He established while on the earth has been restored to the earth. I know that the authority He held, has been restored also. I know these things because I've read and prayed about the Book of Mormon, and know for sure it's true.

How I live my faith

Heavenly Father gives us the opportunity to influence each other through our examples. So, I try to make sure that I'm being a good example to those around me. Everyday I go out and make the effort to serve others, smile, and be happy. Currently, I am a full-time missionary in Idaho for my Church and go around offering service and teaching people about Jesus Christ.
