Hi I'm Brittany

I go to ASU full time to be a History teacher, I work at In-n-Out burger, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE listening to music. I feel like music can affect your mood any way you want it to. I enjoy scrap booking even though I'm still learning how to do it all. I like to think I know a little about a lot of things and enjoy learning little bits of information. Dr. Pepper is one of my favorite drinks. I am actually going to school right now to be an American History teacher. I haven't quite decided on 7-8 or High school. I am married but am not a mom yet.

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually raised by my parents in the Church. My mom was a convert and my dads parents were members, however, they were not active until he was 19. When I was growing up, I really enjoyed going to church. When I was in college however, I hit a point where I wasn't all the way sold on the church. It wasn't until I was 21 and had moved into an apartment with some of the most amazing girls. They got me to stay active in the church and I decided that I wanted to serve a mission for the Church. I believe that I have always had a testimony and I always knew the church was true. My mission helped to confirm my testimony and strengthen it. I love to read the scriptures. In them, I am constantly reminded of how much my Heavenly Father loves me. I continue to attend church because it renews my desire to find joy and happiness in this life and helps me to attain an eternal life with my husband and future children.

How I live my faith

I am called with my husband to teach Primary children. Our kids are between 3 and 4 years of age. I love getting to teach this little ones about being honest, and loving everyone! They are the brightest part of my day. I also have the calling of visiting teaching. this is where I am able to meet with a few (usually 3-4) sisters in the ward. I really enjoy sharing messages with them to help increase their faith in the Lord and to help them in any way I can.

Are Mormons Christians?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints IS Christ's Restored church on the earth today. We follow all of his teachings found in the Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon. Jesus Christ is the center of our church. We believe in the atonement of Jesus Christ and know that with out this great sacrifice all mankind would be lost. He is our connection to our Heavenly Father. We love him and hope to return to live with Him again. Show more Show less
