Hi I'm Joelle

I'm a mom. I'm a college graduate. I love to run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in a large family with parents that taught me about the gospel. I went to college and received a degree in elementary education. I got married in the temple during my last year of college and a year later had a little girl. I taught school for 2 years before I decided to be a stay at home mom. I love being home with my daughter and teaching her every day. I love to run and exercise and I love to bake. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It gives me strength and direction every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always known the church is true. The summer before I left for college I wanted to make sure that I really had a testimony. I knelt in prayer and I knew without a doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I felt so warm and at peace. That peace and warmth are a part of my life every day. The gospel is what gives me guidance and direction. Every decision I make is based on the teaching I know to be true. I know I have a Savior who died for me and I want to return to my Father in Heaven. I also want to be with my family forever and so I follow the gospel's teachings to help me have eternal life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I say my prayers individually and with my family. I study the scriptures daily. I try every day to become more like my Savior. I also work with the youth in my ward. It gives me the opportunity to teach them what I know and the principles of the gospel. They help me to increase my faith by there examples that they set for me.
