Hi I'm Ed

I grew up near the small town of South Prairie WA and have worked with lumber & wood products since high school. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Over the years, I have enjoyed snowmobiling and 4-wheeling, some fishing, and hiking in the mountainous area close by. I like to climb higher peaks, including Mount Rainier. But also in life, I like to reach out to the higher peaks. I like to see what’s over the next sunrise. I like to feel the spirit. I enjoy picking huckleberries; I like to raise a garden. I like to dance. I like feeling good, and I’ve felt good since I joined the church in 1976 and have kept Jesus Christ in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember as a child, approximately 10 years old a couple young men on bicycles wanting to set up a family discussion about religion and my parents declined. And then for about the next 14 years, I went through life not thinking too much about religion, but keeping out of trouble. Then I was introduced to the church and the spirit touched me to join. It has been a happy way of life. I’m self employed. I have 5 lovely children, a lovely wife, and I’m happy I’m a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have a wood products business that helps supply the local residents with materials for their gardens and animal bedding. I’m a volunteer clerk at my church and oversee the record keeping process. I’ve also worked in the scouting program, served as the Sunday School President, and taught classes in church. I live my faith by integrity and honesty.
