Hi I'm Jessica

I'm French-Canadian. I'm a graduate student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My greatest love is my family! Between my parents, three brothers, sister-in-law, two nephews, and two nieces, life is always interesting and exciting. I have a passion for learning and education. For the last seven years, I've been away from home and in school, working toward completing my doctoral degree in clinical audiology. I will graduate soon and plan to open my own clinic that will serve children and adults with hearing impairment. When I'm not studying or spending time with my family, I love playing the piano and guitar, singing, being outdoors, exercising at the gym, and traveling and learning about other cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found no greater happiness and peace in my life than that which comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. The doctrines and principles I have been taught and strive to follow each day give my life direction and purpose. I know I have been guided, protected, and blessed throughout my life as I have followed precepts I have been taught. The knowledge that families can be forever and that life extends beyond death gives me joy and peace. The knowledge that I am a daughter of God with infinite worth gives me perspective, confidence, and strength. The knowledge that I have a Savior who not only atoned for my sins, but the sins of all mankind fills me with humility, gratitude, and hope. I testify that Christ lives, that his gospel is true, and that it has the power to change lives.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by serving as a coordinator organizing the visiting teaching program for women within my ward. My purpose is to ensure that each woman has a friend in the gospel and that they are being watched over and uplifted temporally, emotionally and spiritually.
