Hi I'm Sherri

I grew up in Arizona. I love my family, good friends, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sports, the outdoors and life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies are family, racquetball, swimming, biking, running, the outdoors, baking and learning. I'm a mother of four and grandmother of five. I am currently a student studying Spanish. I've previously won two state tournaments in racquetball, and two buckles in team roping, (heading). I love my family, good friends, the outdoors, great food, Disneyland and life!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young I did not have the gospel in my life. After the gospel became a part of my life I realized and that I never wanted to be without it again! I am a Mormon because there is peace in knowing that my life is in line with God’s will. Peace is one thing that the Adversary cannot duplicate! It only comes through following Jesus Christ! We live with a lot of turmoil in our lives today, I know by living the gospel of Jesus Christ that no matter what turmoil may happen, the Savior is in control and He can and does bring peace to my soul. I can withstand anything with Him by my side! I also love my family very much, and I want to be with them forever! I testify that this is what Heavenly Father’s Plan is all about. He loves us and He wants us to be happy…not just a temporary happy, but an eternal happy! Together forever!

How I live my faith

I love my Savior Jesus Christ and the best way I can show Him is to follow His example by loving and serving my family, my fellowman, my friends, community, country and world! I am currently serving the youth of our church, (twelve to eighteen years old). I help organize young women's summer camp and many various activities for around three hundred youth. I have the opportunity to be involved in service projects, sporting activities, spiritual firesides, youth conferences and many others. One project that we just completed was to take all the youth to a facility for special needs adults. Some of these residents have been living in this facility their whole life! They have a wide range of special needs. There we were one on one with our new friends and participated with them in a fun singing time. We were able to bond with our friend and help them to know that they are loved very much by us and their Heavenly Father! This was such a rewarding opportunity. I love the good feeling that I am able to get by loving and serving others! All these wonderful opportunities I owe to living the gospel of Jesus Christ! I would highly recommend this life style to all!!
