Hi I'm Amy

I am the middle of five children, four of which are boys. I studied Geography at Arizona State University and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the same house my entire life! I have four brothers and I am stuck right in the middle. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2010 in Geography. I love taking pictures of landscape and the environment. I enjoy learning about people and different cultures around the world. I love wildlife. My other hobbies include scrap-booking and cooking and baking. I spend most of the summer at the pool, mostly because I work as a lifeguard. I love to take pictures as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe this to be the work of God. I believe that Jesus Christ lived on this Earth to die for each of us so that we may return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I know that Christ restored his church on this Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I know these things because I have prayed to my Father in Heaven and found out for myself that they are true through the Holy Ghost. Everything that I asked the Father about this church just felt right and that is why I continue to follow the teachings of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in the activities that the church provides and then telling my coworkers what I do helps me to be an example that they can look to. Visiting Sisters that are a part of my ward helps me to draw closer to them and be able to provide them with a friend to help them when they are in need. It makes each of us feel like someone cares and someone always does. I always try to have a smile on my face because I know that it will lift up someone around me.
