Hi I'm Karli Anderson

I live in Arizona. I play on my high school freshman volleyball team, I love to do service and volunteer work and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im Karli, I have been a member of the church all my life and I always attend seminary every morning and I love going to mutual and bonding with my ward youth, and I love the activities. I love to draw and play volleyball, and I love being in the stake plays that we do every year. I used to play tennis, soccer, and I used to swim and do gymnastics, but as I got older I switched to volleyball. I go to the stake dances that they have every Saturday and I love dancing and meeting new people there. I love going to Mexico every year and doing service with my stake, and we do really fun projects to help the people there. I love spending time with my friends and I love animals and food. :) I hike the grand canyon about every year, I have gone about 3 times. My family and I love going to Canada because that's where most of my family lives. they have the best candy! :) the most important things to me are my family sports, food, my friends and the church. My family also likes to go to the lake because we have a boat and we go tubing and wake boarding.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a Mormon family and I've been Mormon all my life. It has helped me in the young women's program. The young woman's program has helped me through tough decisions that have come up in high school and my life. I love the young woman in my ward and we love doing activities together every week and we are all very good friends. The leaders we have in the young woman's are wonderful ladies. We have gotten to know each other very well and I love spending time with them as well. I love learning the gospel and having the spirit in my home, I love my family and my ward. I love my friends and they are all great examples for me and I learn a lot from them. As a member of the church the teachings have helped me make good choices as I go through high school. I know that if I continue to follow the teachings of the church, then I will be able to return back to my heavenly father.

How I live my faith

As youth in the church we are given many opportunities to learn leadership skills and service in the community. The youth group has done many great service projects like painting houses, cleaning up parks, making blankets, and a bunch of other great projects. I attend church meetings on Sunday's and they are very helpful and I enjoy them. Some standards that have really helped me are dressing modestly, dating in groups, having clean language, and we have been taught to avoid alcohol and tobacco and I now understand why that is so important for us to know that. Living the standards have kept me clean, uplifting, and healthy.
