Hi I'm Bryon

Wanted to be a Forest Ranger; live in a log cabin, but am a CPA in Seattle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a friend, a father of six children, one with ceberal palsy with a powerful power wheel chair, work in Seattle. I graduated in accounting with a masters in taxation. I love my family. I love being with my wife and children. We lived in Stockholm, Sweden for four years. I love different places with new experiences. My two oldest children are in college and the youngest in first grade. I like to be outside, doing whatever, playing tennis, going to the batting cage, camping, walking, hking, fly fishing, duck and goose hunting with my wife and children, or whomever is willing to come. I always struggle to find and make the time. I do love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the teachings of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon teaches me about Jesus Christ, our Father in Heaven and eternal family relationships. Being a Mormon teaches me about repentenance, the opportunity to become a better person, knowing that a Father in Heaven has the capacity to love and forgive me, as well as all mankind. Being Mormon provides the Gospel of Jesus Christ that serves as a foundation for me, my family and all that I do on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

Living any faith is not easy. It takes work. As with all good things, work is requried. I live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by trying to follow the Savior. This means being kind, charitable, serving others, serving the community, being selfless, praying, reading from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I find life is most enjoyable when I incorporate these principles into daily living.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

When Mormon's speak of a testimony, it refers to their personal knowledge that Jesus is the Chirst and Savior of the World. It also refers to a knowledge that our Father in Heaven provides Prophets and Apostles in our times to guide, not only Mormon's, but all of God's children. A testimony is given through the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
