Hi I'm Jill

I'm a wife, a mom to four children, a part-time college student and a soon to be grandma and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Southern California and moved to Arizona to go to school. My husband and I have four wonderful children who honor us with their goodness. My oldest daughter and her husband are expecting our first grandchild this year so we are excited to add another member to our family. Currently I am a part-time college student majoring in emergency management because that’s what interested me. I love to garden and watch things grow, but my favorite thing to do is read a good book. My family teases me about how I tune everything out when I’m reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I love the Savior and know that keeping the commandments will help me be happy. I know Heavenly Father is real because there have been so many times when I’ve thought I couldn’t do it anymore and I’ve felt the spirit comfort me and give me the courage to continue on. Being a Mormon helps me understand my purpose and potential and makes me want to do my best in all aspects of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the women in my congregation. I coordinate visits between the women to ensure that each woman is uplifted and cared for at all times and not just in time of need. Daily scripture reading and prayer is an important part of living my faith as well as trying to choose the right and correcting my mistakes. I love to serve in the temple and feel of the sweet peace that is always there. Teaching my children by example as well as word has been my goal for over twenty years—and I’m learning that teaching never ends!
