Hi I'm Brenda Sanders

I'm a Mormon. I am a mother, grandmother, a life coach and parenting coach, and I love being a woman!

About Me

I am 55 years old and enjoy waking up each day to spend my day in the service of my family and others. I am a mother of 9 beautiful children and grandmother of 21 of the cutest kids ever. I love grandma days every Wednesday morning as the grandchildren come to my home for all kinds of great activities, while their mothers run errands or go to doctor or dentist appointments. It is the highlight of my week. I also enjoy being a life coach and helping other set goals and move out of trying situations to a more excellent way of life. I coach parents to help them have a less frustrating experience in raising their children. I am a stand up comedian and love doing the gigs. It feels so good to help others laugh in this serious and stressful world. I still laugh at my own jokes. I somehow got the courage to do it 16 years old and have been doing it ever since. I have been to the United Nations to lobby for families. I also spend time at the state legislature lobbying for family legislation that helps protect the family. I am currently serving as President of United Families Arizona. I love having my family and anyone else who can handle the noise, over for holidays and Sunday dinner. I love being a nurturer of any who needs my nurturing. I have many trials that accompany my joys. These struggles help me stretch and grow. I trust in my Heavenly Father to direct my way. I lean on my Savior to lighten my way. I love life and I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life, but have studied many religions and continue to ask questions about others beliefs. Each time I gain more knowledge of the world around me, I cherish my religious affiliation with more passion. I am a Mormon because it helps me be a better person in every way. It gives me a clear direction about why I am here and where I am going. The gospel of Jesus Christ answers every question that is necessary for me to know how to return to live with my Heavenly Father one day. it also provides a way for me to be with my family for the eternities. My religion is all about families and so am I. I am a Mormon because I have prayed and have been told over and over again of its truthfulness through the power of the Holy Spirit. Mormons worships Jesus Christ in a way that is consistent with His church in the Bible days. Being a Mormon has been the greatest treasure and blessing in my life and in the lives of my families.

How I live my faith

I have had about every opportunity to serve in my church that there is and have enjoyed each one. I have been the leader over the children's organization of nearly 240 little precious people. Trying but rewarding!!!! I have been the leader over a small section of the largest women's organization in the world. I have enjoyed teaching adults, teens and children, from the scriptures and words of our leaders. I have loved testifying of my Savior Jesus Christ. I have helped with social activities and in bringing relief to the lonely and less fortunate. We call each other Brother and Sister in our church and I take that seriously. We are all God's children and none is above the other, no matter our circumstances. In our home we take seriously the words and council from our Prophet and the words of Christ from the scriptures. As a parent, I try to set the example of making good and moral choices in my life. i believe that I need to live my life as the Savior would have me live, no matter where I am or what the circumstances are. I fall short on a regular basis but get up the next day and try again.
