About Me

I am the father of a high school student. I love to kayak, run (I am not fast but run for the t-shirts) I enjoy almost all sports. I love cars of almost any type, dream of motorcycles. I enjoy camping and the outdoors. I did 3 half marathons this summer and rode a 2 day 140 mile bike ride with my son.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the fact that we put our families first, My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I want to be with them for all eternity. Through our beleifs and the ordances we fullfil we beleive we can be together for ever. I also love that we are a giving chruch there are always oppertunities for service and we are serve each other within the organization or our chruch. I grew up in the church my parents got active soon after my younger brother was born. I remember going to the temple as a young boy and it had a big impact on the rest of my life. I served a mission for the church in Florida and loved every minute of it. I am a graduate of BYU and went on to get a masters degree at the University of Phionex. I believe in the LDS church because the encourage education in all of its forms. I believe we have a living prophet who leads us and recieves revelation from the Lord. This church has so much to offer everyone who gets involved and takes it to heart.

How I live my faith

I have served my community as the Chairman of the local School Board, I am the 1st counclor which is much like an assistant pastor. I conduct meetings sometimes and assist in the organization of the church. I have spent a lot of time with the Boy Scout program and still am involved with them. I am a member of the booster club at my son's new High School, also am in the PTO. I have and will be involved as much as possible in my son's education. My family volenteers every other month at a local homeless shelter to serve food to the people there.
