Hi I'm Todd

I'm a pharmacy student, a husband, and a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in the middle of a mid-life career change. After spending ten years in the financial services industry, I decided I needed to go in another career direction that would allow me to better provide for my family. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in pharmacy while I work as a pharmacist intern. When I'm not studying, I love to read, watch movies, golf, and spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, so naturally people assume that is why I'm a Mormon. But the truth is that everyone has to eventually decide what road they will take in life. I have studied the Book of Mormon and Bible and applied the teachings in those books to my own life. I have also spent much time in prayer with my Heavenly Father asking to know if these teachings that I was living were true. I received my answer through the whisperings of the Holy Spirit. I now know, independent of any mortal influence, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the face of the earth and that Jesus Christ stands at its head. I know that Christ leads this church through a prophet just as he did in Biblical times. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It contains the word of God. I know that God, our Heavenly Father, has a plan for us, His children. I know that Jesus Christ is the central figure in that plan and that by following Christ with full purpose of heart, we may return the presence of our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus Christ lives. He is the Son of God and He is my Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus and serve others. I currently teach Sunday School to the youth, visit various families in my area to make sure they are doing well and to help where I can, and participate in organized service projects in my community.
