Hi I'm Erica

I was a foster child from the age of 6 months until I was 12 years old. I was adopted by a wonderful family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 32 years young single woman. In my family we have 7 children. My twin sister and I are two of five children adopted into our family. I work a full-time job in the finance field and part-time as a photographer. I love to go dancing and play sports. In the next year I hope to become a foster parent myself. My dream is to give, to as many children I can, the opportunity I had to have a loving family environment.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the joy this gospel brings to my life. I know that God is my Heavenly Father. He loves me and wants me to find joy and peace. I know he has a plan for me. I know that I can pray to my Heavenly Father anytime and He will always be there to listen and comfort me. He may not give me the things I ask for, but He always gives me the things I need. I know that even in a world that is ever changing that Heavenly Father is always the same. His has always called prophets to speak to and to proclaime his words. I know that he has given me the right to ask in faith for myself if things which are spoken are true. I have asked him if the teachings of this church are true... and he has answered me "Yes".

How I live my faith

I know Jesus Christ is my redeemer and Savior. Both His life and death were a blessing and example to me. His life showed me that I need to learn to have Joy and Forgivness in the midist of my trials and hardships. When life gets hard I remind myself what my Heavenly Father has already given me. The things that I do to help me to remember my blessings 1. Daily Prayers and Scripture study 2. Attend Church meetings every week 3. I teach a church class to the 5 year olds in my local church building. 4. I help with local charities and community projects

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Death is just a part of God eternal plan for us. After this life I pray if I live worthy I will go to Spirit Paradise. There I will rest from my earthly trails. I will wait there until Christ comes to earth again. I will then be resurrected and be judged for my earthly life actions. And then recevice my glory that the Lord God sees fit to give me. What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

I believe the Bible to be the words of the prophets of God. Some of the greatest gospel principles are found in the pages of the Bible. Show more Show less
