Hi I'm Gary

I am the father of 6 children, 5 boys & 1 girl. I have 14 fabulous grandchildren. I love hiking. I raise goldfish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim twice. I've played golf in Japan. I graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and worked in the semi-conductor industry selling electronic equipment for many years. When I was 50 I changed careers to insurance sales. I have 6 children and 14 grandchildren that I love to hold. I have a goldfish tank I enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned over time that living the gospel principles is the happiest way to live. Following the counsel of living prophets has blessed my life beyond expression. I know the church is true. I have read and studied the Book of Mormon and prayed to our Heavenly Father to know if it is true. Time and time again He has confirmed that it is true. From this I have learned that the church, founded by the Prophet Joseph Smith, as commanded by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, is true.

How I live my faith

I have served in the Boy Scouts of America for many years and seen the blessing of the values taught to the young men who have participated in the program. I try to do the best I can to serve the youth in the program. I am active in Family History to try and learn who my ancestors were. I serve in the organization in our church that tries to visit and support both members of our church and those not of our faith. I work hard to do the best I can at this. I work hard to support my family. I complete assignments given to me by church leaders to the best of my ability.
