Hi I'm Marj

I am single. I live in Arizona. I drive trucks for a living. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am shy, and I don't like to share personal information. I have a hard striking up a conversation with perfect strangers. I like to spend my time with close friends and family. Most of my immediate family lives in another state. I am blessed to have a family from my church that has adopted me. I go to there home every Sunday night for family dinner. I spend a lot of time e-mailing and chatting on facebook. I am in the process of getting my commercial drivers license. I will be driving the big 18 wheelers for a living starting in the next month or two. Its the perfect job for me, because I am single, and anti-social. I also love to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

Why wouldn't I be a Mormon. I grew up in this church, surrounded by a lot selfish, clickish people. I always felt like an outsider. But my mom always says the church is perfect, the people in it aren't. In the New Testament the Savior says "They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick." I often feel lonely or sick in my soul. I have found that only the atonement of My Savior Jesus Christ can make me whole. This is the only church that has the fullness of His gospel. This is His church, with His preisthood power, restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I have found many answers to the questions in my life through reading the Book of Mormon and attending the Temple. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I know this Gods church here upon the earth. I am so blessed to be a part of it, and to be able to share the good news of the gospel. God wants us to be happy, and to return home to Him, where we all came from. Keeping His commandments, makeing and keeping sacred covenants, aligning my will to His, is what makes me happy, and gives me the hope and assurance that I will see my savior and my heavenly Father again, along with all my family that has gone before me. I hope to hear Him say "Well done thou good and faithful servant." I have a long way to go before I am that good, So I go to a church with the healing power of the Savior, the Same healing power He used in the New Testament. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

It is something I do everyday, by the way I dress, the way I talk, hopefully by the way I treat other people. I need some work on that last one. I have 3 callings in my ward, or with church. I help plan activities for the single adults, ages 31 and up. For one I lead the music for Relief Society (one of the church meetings with only women). As a visiting teaching supervisor, I get call other sisters (women) in the ward and see how they are doing, and see if they need antyhing. I also have a sister serving a mission in Hawaii, so I like to tell people how she is doing there, and answer any question they may have about her mission, or about the church. I usually where my CTR (choose the right) ring everyday, to remind me to make good choices, and to let others know what my religion is.
